At this point, use the shortcut on your desktop to start up the game. Once you select a home, move in a family, or zoom in, the game will go into full screen mode.
You may also have some excess grey or black borders on the outer edges of the screen, but again, that will go away once you zoom in. This is everything I did in order to get the game to work on Windows Like I said earlier, this may or may not necessarily work for you, but since it took me 3 hours to even get this game to work, I wanted to share in the event it helps you too! Sign in. Log into your account. Password recovery. Forgot your password? Replace with the crack version DONE. IF this is Vista and 7, what you will need to do is go to "The Sims" shortcut on your desktop, right click and goto your properties.
Then click on the box making it into another user. Make it Windows XP. This normally makes it work. If you still have issues.. I don't know what to tell you, I will look further into it. Right-click the Sims icon. When you do, go to "Shortcut Tab" see that box that says "Target"? Look at the end of it, add this. Pick one. Then install the game there.
